ABOUT THE CLASS
Everyone wants to experience peace and joy, but our daily experiences are often the opposite – full of frustration and anxiety.
We may have tried meditation in the past, but not got good results.
This course explains how to practice meditation in a structured way, with different ways of meditating leading to greater experiences of inner peace, compassion and wisdom.
This course is based on the teachings of Buddha, which are available to everyone and anyone, and provides us with ancient wisdom for modern times.
You will learn –
- What is meditation
- How to have a regular meditation practice
- How meditation can improve our good qualities
- Tips for how to think positively in everyday life
- Useful resources to read in your own time

Class Teacher
Gen Pagpa is an English Buddhist Monk and has been studying meditation for over 20 years.
He is an accomplished public speaker, and can explain Buddha’s teachings in a practical and interesting manner.
He has taught classes and retreats at Meditation Centres throughout the country.
