Buddha Maitreya is the embodiment of the loving-kindness of all the Buddhas, whose function is to guide all beings along the stages of the path to enlightenment.

This retreat is available for those who have had the Buddha Maitreya empowerment, either on the Saturday or a previous occasion.

It features 3 sessions with prayers, teachings and guided meditations.

ABOUT THE CLASS

By engaging in the practice of Buddha Maitreya , we will receive special blessings that increase our loving-kindness and our peace of mind, and make progress on our journey to the supreme happiness of enlightenment.

Each session in this retreat is 1 hour long, and has an introductory talk, followed by prayers and silent pauses for a guided meditation led by Gen Pagpa.

There are refreshment breaks during the day and an optional lunch is also available.

£15 - no lunch

£20 - with a vegetarian and vegan lunch.

 

TIMETABLE

10.30am to 11.30am - Session 1

12noon to 1pm - Session 2

1pm - Optional Veggie/Vegan Lunch

2.30pm to 3.30pm - Session 3

Class Teacher

Gen Pagpa is an English Buddhist Monk and has been studying meditation for over 20 years.

He is an accomplished public speaker, and can explain Buddha’s teachings in a practical and interesting manner.

He has taught classes and retreats at Meditation Centres throughout the country.
