This Sunday morning course is open to anyone and provides an opportunity to practice meditation in a peaceful environment with an experienced teacher providing helpful guidance.

If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and we will experience true happiness.

If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we will experience a purer and purer form of happiness.

This course features teachings and guided meditations, with a break in the middle for refreshments.

The two morning sessions will be led by Gen Kelsang Pagpa, an english Buddhist Monk, who has years of experience in practising and teaching meditation.

There is an optional veggie/vegan lunch at 1pm when the sessions finish.

This course is suitable for everyone.

The meditation room is a comfortable and peaceful environment, with chairs and cushions provided.

  • How meditation is essential for a happy life.
  • How to have success in our meditations.
  • How to establish a regular meditation practice.
  • Useful resources to have at home.

No experience is needed - this class is suitable for anyone.

Class Teacher

Gen Pagpa is an English Buddhist Monk and has been studying meditation for over 20 years.

He is an accomplished public speaker, and can explain Buddha’s teachings in a practical and interesting manner.

He has taught classes and retreats at Meditation Centres throughout the country.
