‘Guided Meditation Retreat’ Saturday – In Person Class

‘Guided Meditation Retreat’

Saturday 20th August

This retreat features teachings and guided meditations from the book ‘The Mirror of Dharma with Additions’.

Each one hour session features a short introductory talk, prayers, and a guided meditation.

The meditations are based on ‘The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment’, with a different topic in each session.

You can attend as many or as few session as you wish.

It is open to anyone – no previous experience is needed.

An optional lunch will be provided – please pay on the day for this.

By attending this course either on-line or in-person, you will –

  • Gain experience of meditation
  • Learn how to develop inner peace through using Buddha’s teachings
  • Be introduced to a variety of meditations and find out which situations they are most helpful in
  • Those with previous experience will be able to improve their familiarity with the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment

10am - 11am = Session 1

11.30am - 12.30pm = Session 2

 

12.30pm = Optional Vegi Lunch

 

2pm - 3pm = Session 3

3.30pm - 4.30pm = Session 4

Class Teacher

Gen Pagpa is an English Buddhist Monk and has been studying meditation for over 20 years.

He is an accomplished public speaker, and can explain Buddha’s teachings in a practical and interesting manner.

He has taught classes and retreats at Meditation Centres throughout the country.
