This Sunday morning course features guidance and meditations based on Buddhist teachings that increase confidence in our ability to face the problems of everyday life and to develop mental toughness.

It is on at the Kadampa Meditation Centre, which is at 38 West Cliff, Preston, PR1 8HU.

Life is full of ups and downs, and is rarely the way we want it.

When we experience problems, we tend to become depressed or angry.

How can we deal with adversity and keep a peaceful and happy mind, given that we can rarely change our external conditions to make this better?

By practising Buddha’s teachings on patient acceptance.

Refreshment Break

11.45am – 1pm – Session 2

No experience is needed - this class is suitable for anyone.

Class Teacher

Gen Pagpa is an English Buddhist Monk and has been studying meditation for over 20 years.

He is an accomplished public speaker, and can explain Buddha’s teachings in a practical and interesting manner.

He has taught classes and retreats at Meditation Centres throughout the country.
