Christmas can be a difficult time for many people.

There can be additional stresses and strains of providing for family and friends who visit, or possible loneliness and isolation as our usual routine changes, or sadness when we remember those who are no longer with us.

We can approach these difficulties in a much more positive state of mind if we take some time out before and during the festival season to prepare our self and create some inner peace and strength.

This short Sunday morning course helps us to understand and develop the beautiful mind of compassion.

What is this and how can it help us?

Compassion is a virtuous mind that wishes others to be free from suffering.

When we are feeling compassionate, we experience peace and happiness, as it is impossible for strong delusions to arise in a mind filled with compassion.

Gen Pagpa will explain meditations that we can do to arouse our natural mind of compassion at this Festival time.

Sunday 17th December, 11am - 1pm.

Chairs and cushions are provided in the meditation room.

Hot & cold drinks are available in the lounge before the class.
