ABOUT THE CLASS
By relying sincerely upon Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, and reciting his mantra with strong faith, we will attain a peaceful and happy mind, improve our compassion, and gradually purify our mind of all selfishness and negativity; and ultimately we will attain supreme Buddhahood in Avalokiteshvara’s Pure Land.
This retreat will feature the prayer booklet that focusses on the Four-armed aspect of Avalokiteshvara.
It is very blessed; the main body was composed by the great Tibetan Yogi Drubchen Tangtong Gyalpo, with additional prayers added by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Each session is 1 hour long, and has an introductory talk, followed by the Avalokiteshvara prayers with pauses for a guided meditation by Gen Pagpa.
There are refreshment breaks during the day and an optional lunch is also available.
